EDIT: I'm turning this entirely into a character chain. If anyone wants to RP with one of my characters, simply post here and let me know.
COMBAT SUPPORT ROGUES
The CS Rogues, as I call them, are a set of five rogue avatars created as side effects of an experimental project known as Project AUGMENT, run by a group under PariahTech. This goal of AUGMENT was to create programs that could permanently boost the combat potential of the avatar that used them. None of the DPs worked as intended, and the project was cancelled, but from the test runs bits and pieces of the DPs combined with data from the network to create these five avatars. Because of the nature of AUGMENT, the CS Rogues all have unique or, at the very least, unusual powers designed to aid others in combat.
Merge
Merge was the first CS Rogue born, and her power is to fuse with her own equipment and then overlay that code onto another, allowing them to use her equipment while she boosts it with her own DPs. She's cautious, socially awkward, but most of all, principled. The difference between right and wrong is important to her, and her current goal is to find someone that she considers worthy of her power, who will use it for good. She thinks she's found him with Dagger...
Integrate
Integrate also can fuse his code with someone else's, only instead of giving them new equipment and DPs, he combines with the avatar directly, transforming their appearance and allowing them to use his DPs to increase the power of their attacks by modifying them. Integrate doesn't go out of his way to find trouble, but he'll help those in need as a way to try and atone for the sins of his past when he was still viral.
Amplify
Amplify, reborn in a reformatter due to being kidnapped by PariahTech, is now a confident, kind woman. She's far more likely to pay attention to right and wrong now, and even without memories of her past life, is determined to not make the same mistakes the old Amplify did. However, while she's got the same strong sense of right and wrong that Domain, Mirror, and Merge do, her loyalty to those she cares about is far more important, and she would sacrifice everything to keep the same... or to keep them with her. The primary difference between her and the previous Amplify is that she's self-sacrificing, instead of trying to sacrifice others. Her power, of course, is still boosting the power of others, but she has her own means of fighting now.
Domain
Domain, at first glance, is like any other avatar, and is probably the closest CS Rogue to 'normal'. He likes brawls and looks generally intimidating, but he's far deeper than he appears on the surface. Like Merge, he has a strong sense of wrong and right, and has a goal to find something in particular. His search is for someplace that he feels is home. For you see, his support power is to alter the terrain of the network around him if he chooses, and by controlling the battlefield, he can completely change how a battle is going.
Mirror
Mirror is now closer than ever before to being a full person. She has a strong personality, easy-going and competitive. She has her own appearance, that of a young woman. She has many friends, and even four siblings, though the only one she's really had contact with is Domain. She's best described as cute, and tends to become friends with people easily. She has a strong sense of right and wrong, and the capability to copy other people and use their own powers against them.
The Twins
The twins are a pair of girls who have one unique thing about them: They 'share' an avatar. Through a mess of coding quirks and specialized programs, Harmony is their avatar for both of them, and using their terminals at the same time allows them to both activate DPs for her and help operate. Rarely seen apart, at least in public, if you're dealing with one girl, you're dealing with the other.
Fyra Weaver
Fyra is the extroverted, bright, bubbly twin. She dresses in flamboyant colors and outfits, and can make friends with just about anyone. Of course, all of her emotions are likewise exaggerated; if she has reason to feel negative towards somebody, she will let them know it in very certain terms. The programs she has for Harmony are all combat-focused.
Aqua Weaver
Aqua, in contrast to her sister, is shy and silent. She doesn't talk easily, doesn't act out... but when she does speak up, she expects people to listen. While Fyra is very good at social situations, Aqua is better at more intellectual pursuits. In fact, she dabbles in no small amount of programming; while Fyra came up with the concepts, all of her DPs were made by Aqua. Aqua's terminal has analysis-based DPs for Harmony.
Harmony/Alpha
Harmony is generally a calm and decisive individual. Her personality is best described as somewhere in the middle of Aqua and Fyra, and as such she helps balance them out when one of them is operating her. She will try to seek out a way to avoid combat when possible, but won't hesitate when fighting is the only option. The way that she can be avatar for both twins at the same time is that their terminals are synchronized with each other to share data, each one running a separate copy of her program. This makes her have one 'mind', but technically two bodies. When both terminals are active at the same time, one copy goes inactive and its terminal instead sends the data on its DPs to the other, allowing both Aqua and Fyra to operate Harmony and send her DPs. Taking advantage of this, Aqua set it up so that Fyra's copy was instead a specialized body named Alpha, for covert uses.
