This is the cyber city that rogue avatars call their home. Things run fairly slow here, but it is a steady, lawless place for lawless people. Most deals and plans for attacking the global network take place here. There is no law that keeps people from attacking each other. But if a fight is started, it must be finished inside of the underground arena.
This is a battle site where avatars and avatars play for keeps, and there are also no rules. Most avatars wager data files in here for fun, and some make out like bandits because of underhanded tactics. Be careful what you wager here, you may just lose it all. There is no respawn in this arena. If you're a rogue avatar, once you're deleted, you're done (no returning to the thread), and the victor takes all save data from the fallen combatant.

Underground Network (Avatars)
Accessed and exited through a gateway found in the wasteland of the Antarctic network, this is where the scum of the digital universe hide out. Only welcome members of the underground are permitted to enter this network.
Due to the fact that there is practically an entire army of rogue avatars that is constantly growing from data feedback found in the data scape, world governments have agreed to monitor the gateway, but don't attempt to invade the corrupt network. This is mostly due to the fact that it's difficult enough to get to the gateway, but communications are cut off from the physical world once an avatar enters the underground, and activation of programs is disabled as a result. So avatars are running solo until they can get out in one piece, or are presumed deleted.
