Name: Terran Adair
Age: 34 years old.
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Terran has a stocky build. A full, unkempt beard covers the majority of his face, showing more than a little negligence in his personal grooming. His face always carries a warm look, oft times accentuated by his soft amber eyes. A similar trend of inattention is paid to his clothing, with him wearing a worn, brown trench coat. Tarnished and black boots follow this, with a plain pair of cargo trousers. Under his trench coat, he happens to wear a shirt interlaced with protective material, giving a slight protection from impact in that area, but certainly nothing to keep a bullet away.
Personality:
Terran is a realistic individual. He doesn't give way to rosy ideology without reason, preferring to adhere to his naturalistic view of the world. In some cases, this realism leads to pessimism on Terran’s part. Being so attached to all that he values, Terran would find himself lost if that was all pulled from under him. With the growth of the Cyber Net, the harsh reaction from the government has led to this change in Terran's temperament, leading him to be quite conservative, in both his actions and in his thoughts. This bleeds into how he carries himself socially also, with Terran saying little to a stranger, before gradually speaking more frequently as he grows to know them better. Another quality of his is his seamlessly infinite patience. Unless somebody directly pushes his buttons, Terran can remain relatively calm. This offers him great clarity of mind in a number of tense and pressurising situations. When undergoing a task, whether assigned by himself or another, Terran tends to doggedly pursue it until a conclusion to his task it reached. Any distractions from said task leaves Terran in an irate mood. Following the passing of his daughter, Terran has struggled to cope. It's clear from this that Terran has some deep-seated issues in this regard. If any harm was to come to his avatar, it would leave Terran in a highly distressed and angered state.

History:
Residing in the Downtown district of a lonely town in Europe, Terran was born during the events of the growing Cyber Earth, and such, was exposed to it's development into the close likeness of the Earth that it is today. In his early years, he studied the application of electronics and the fundamentals of electrical and computer engineering. His parents nurtured his drive for innovation, and found himself earning a PhD in electrical engineering after a long stint in college. During that time in college, he met a beautiful woman, whom he proposed to after gaining his doctorate. Happily married, Terran found himself a spot in the head of a research and development sector in a leading industrial firm. He spent many years developing new technology, happy with his life. At the age of twenty-five, Amelia was born.
Terran found himself attached the the tiny baby, and as Amelia grew up, he was driven by his strong paternal instinct to protect and nurture her. As Amelia approached her eighth year, Terran brought her to work, in an attempt to stir some interest within her in relation to his work. The tour was just a general sweep of one of the firm's factories. A simple and safe trip. However, as Terran brought Amelia around, he was the recipient of very, very bad luck. A 1 in a million chance, one of their transformers shorted out on a fault, and blacked out the whole factory. Usually, one would be safe as long as they hadn't put themselves in harms way of the current, but at that very moment, Amelia had leaned against a metal construct. Her fatal accident had flipped Terran's world upside down, and in the coming weeks, life made it hard for him. His wife left him, unable to keep the blame hidden behind her eyes. Terran was left to wallow in his own despair of his daughter's death, quitting his job and living in solitude.
His experience of three years alone culminated in a desire to see his daughter again. This led to in the eventual creation of an avatar in Amelia's likeness and personality. Currently, with his daughter by his side in spirit, he has regained his desire for technology, and has been exploring the reaches of the Cyber Net with Amelia's help.
Special Equipment:
Cochlear Radio Implant w/ Subvocal microphone: An prominent invention of his, this radio allows for Terran to receive messages without anyone else being able to hear them, by stimulating the small bones of his ear directly. The subvocal microphone allows Terran to speak without ever uttering an audible word, with the microphone picking up the small movements of his muscles.
V5 Wrist Terminal: The V5 terminal interfaces with his radio to provide a way to keep in connection with Amelia as well as to store all of her base data.
Shock Baton: A walking stick with an electrical current hidden within its metal end that can pass enough voltage through a person to render them unconscious. Has enough charge for three discharges before needing to be set on a docking station at Terran's home. The stick is just slightly under a metre in length, with the metal part encompassing only an eighth of the stick's length.
