Name: Fujiko Ikoi
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: Proud and loud, Fujiko has full faith in her company, the world's technology, people, and her own people skills. She's an avid gamer as well, and sees opportunities no differently from how gamblers look at a starting hand. Though this time, her goal isn't to make money. Daddy has more than enough of that. What Fujiko was trying to win here was fame. Fame and glory all for the Ikoi Conglomerate.
Affiliation: Heir to the Ikoi Corporation, Uptown citizen with more money than you could dream of
History: The Ikoi family started out as electronic games developers before the terminals, creating electronic goods and toys on a small scale level, but gained more and more popularity as their games became readily accessible due to the cheap prices and widespread usage of the terminals later on. From here, they began organizing mergers with several other electronics companies to become the current Ikoi Conglomerate, one of the central game companies and electronics developers, responsible for making most of the household appliances compatible with Avatars and Terminals. Still, the Conglomerate is a gaming company by heart, and has created entire constant lines of video games and arcades across Japan, and would eventually expand their borders to the Americas and Asia.
However, it would also be this Conglomerate that would be responsible for collaborating with other multi-trillion dollar industries in experimenting with the slums. The Ikoi Conglomerate would never be caught for their actions, but their experiments in new virtual reality and biofibers would remain within some of the braindead members of these slums. Several attacks would be launched at the Conglomerate, and controversies ran high as the former CEO at the time, Uchinaga Ikoi, leaked information that the higher ups of the Ikoi Conglomerate were still directly involved with the slums and were experimenting with gambling parlors and drug markets alongside the yakuza. Eventually as part of the government intervention in managing the web, the Ikoi Conglomerate was broken down, and parts of the company would later be integrated into larger corporations.
Enter Fujiko's father, Takuna Ikoi, son of Uchinaga, ex-codirector of the Ikoi Conglomerate, and the new head of the remains of the old Conglomerate, now known as IKOI Corporations, which has retained the Ikoi's game development, arcades, and pachinko parlors. With this, there was hope that the old dark age of technology would pass over the Ikoi Conglomerate, and that the new terminals would mean for better games and potential innovation. And Fujiko Ikoi, personally appointed spokeswoman of the Ikoi Corporation, future heir, and master gamer, would die to see her father's company return to its glory days. In light of new government intervention, the Ikoi Corporation has been working alongside the government in overseeing regulation of electronics and programs distributed. With these connections, Fujiko has become the new spokeswoman of both the Corporation and the government organized tournaments.
Special Equipment: That blade around her waist is believed to be dulled, but she's never specified if it's still sharp. She's never had to use it, but it's believed quite a few insolent men have had their tongues silenced with a quick strike.
