Personality: Forge is an incredibly intelligent avatar, and he has no compunctions about letting everyone around him know it. His attitude can change from sarcastic and infuriating to focused and calculating seemingly at random. But no matter what his current demeanor, there is always one constant with Forge's personality, he is always plotting something, be it a new weapon or armor suit, or something as benign as infuriating his more serious co-workers, Forge is often referred to as a "Chess-master" or "Schemer" because of his skills at manipulating the rules and technology to suit his needs.
This attitude is tempered by his narcissism and borderline paranoia, Forge is incredibly peculiar about his security protocols, often times re-writing his own programs several times a day to make them as close to hack-proof as possible. This makes him difficult to work with even on his good days, as he does not reveal what his current projects are, often times locking himself in an isolated lab and having his self-made VI JARVIS act as a go-between if someone needs to reach him. The only one who is even remotely exempt from this is Noxus, and even then he is kept at arms length when the exact details of Forge's projects are brought up.
While this personality would normally spell disaster if left unattended, his manipulative behavior and narcissism is balanced by an unshakable belief that at the end of the day, his only purpose in life is to protect people. This one goal fuels all of Forge's actions, and even if he creates instruments of death, he is incredibly cautious about who gains access to them. Because of this, he has agreed to join the NY-NPD, under the condition that if he learns that his inventions are being misused, he has the right to not only quit, but to destroy every piece of technology that he has created for them. And if the deal is not honored, it's almost a certainty that Forge has some kind of plan in place to make the NPD lose access to his creations.
History: If Forge's life could possibly be summed up in one word, it would be "Contradiction", Forge has gone from a lone tinkerer making programs to get by in a cesspit to a scientist who creates powerful armors and weapons in the name of peace, all in the span of five years. Forge was born on the very edge of the net's civilized zone, an area known for being rough at best and a deathtrap at worst. Viruses, rogue avatars both benign and violent, as well as criminals and scum of the highest order inhabit this place, and law enforcement is nearly nonexistent due to the strain of policing the massive Cyber Cities that cover the digital landscape.
Forge quickly learned that in a hazardous place like "The Rim" as it had come to be known, he would have to adapt or die. Luckily for Forge, he was a quick learner. Forge quickly discovered that he was intelligent, even for an avatar, he absorbed new information and knowledge at an astonishing rate with no loss of data retention. Part of this is because of Forge's unique "Physiology" Forge's natural processing speed is three times as fast as a normal avatar, this higher processing power is apparently the result of a glitch in the algorithm that dictates how fast his processors are clocked.
Forge used this discovery to become a skilled code writer and hacking expert, he would sell his services to avatars who needed repairs or upgrades, and would even upgrade himself when the inspiration struck him. Eventually, Forge became bored with simply creating DP's or Add-ons, and decided to challenge himself by creating a VI that was linked to his own code. He named this VI JARVIS (Just A Rather Very Intelligent System), who acted as a confidant and occasionally a conscience if Forge's scheming was getting out of hand.
Forge continued to make his reputation known, and as a result gained the attention of Noxus, who at the time had only Justicar as a member of his organization. Noxus attempted to indulge Forge's ego into joining him, and in response, Forge blasted Noxus through the wall of his building with the help of his personal armor system. What followed was a furious battle between Noxus and Forge, with Justicar getting anyone nearby to safety.
At the end of the melee, both parties were bloodied and beaten, laying in a crater created by a particularly nasty explosion caused by a collision between Noxus' Viral Comet and Forge's repulsor cannons. Calling the bout a draw, Forge decided to join Noxus, impressed by the viral avatar's durability and stubbornness. The duo became fast friends, and even in the wake of his viral infection and stasis freezing, Forge still considers Noxus one of the few people deserving of his trust.
Forge is currently working with the NPD as a R&D officer. Though given his love for upgrading his own firmware and his heroic compulsions, it's a safe bet that Forge will be joining the fray as a fighter, not just a scientist.
Add-On: Mark 37 Power Armor: This armor is the latest iteration in a long line of personal combat armor suits designed by Forge, his original models were solely designed for combat purposes while he lived in The Rim, but as time went on his designs began to branch out into multipurpose suits that possessed a wide a array of programs. The Mark 37 represents a mixture of these two design philosophies, while it possesses a wide range of scanning equipment, repair tools and hacking gear, it is far more heavily armed than previous armor suits. The Mark 37 is also compatible with the JARVIS VI, who streamlines the suit's functions and updates Forge on important information such as enemy specifications, suit integrity, and the status of friendly forces.
The Suit itself increases Forge's strength threefold, allowing the smaller avatar to go toe to toe with foes far larger than him, it is also incredibly durable, reducing any damage that Forge takes by 35%. However, Forge is almost completely reliant on the suit in heavy combat, without it, he is no stronger or more durable than a normal avatar.
Combat - Energy Cannons: Forge's gauntlets possess integrated energy projectors in their palms, these projectors use a high density electron beam to produce powerful and highly focused bright yellow bolts of concussive energy. At their highest setting, these blasts can delete a target with only a few shots, the blasts can also be scaled down to act as "Riot Rounds" potent, but non-lethal bursts of concussive force that can stun an opponent without killing them.
Forge's armor also possesses a chest mounted Energy Cannon, which delivers a much more potent burst of energy. The chest cannon is capable of blowing a hole through a light armored vehicle, but it cycles between shots at a much slower rate due to the cannon's high power requirements. Forge's gauntlet mounted energy cannons deal a moderate amount of damage per shot, while the chest mounted cannon deals a large amount of damage per shot. However, the chest cannon can only be fired once every other turn.
Combat - Laser Projectors: Forge's gauntlets also possess laser projector weapons for when the energy cannons on his palms aren't potent enough. The Laser projectors are technically mounted behind the energy projectors in Forge's gauntlets, Forge designed an advanced system that allows both projectors to utilize the same focusing lens without damaging each other, the only difference between the two is that the lenses change to a bright crimson color when the laser emitter is activated. Forge's laser projector's also possess a secondary beam emitter mounted on top of Forge's forearms, these emitters produce a steady beam instead of a bolt, these emitter's are usually used as cutting tools, and Forge prefers to only use them in combat if the palm emitters are damaged.
The lasers themselves are incredibly potent, firing bright crimson bolts of laser energy that are capable of slicing through most forms of personal combat armor or burning through six inches of steel plate when properly focused. However, where the gauntlet mounted energy projectors could be likened to a semi-automatic pistol, the laser projectors fit the role of a magnum revolver, they are incredibly powerful, but their rate of fire is far slower than that of the energy projectors. Forge's laser projectors deal a large amount of damage per shot, but he can only fire them once per post.
Combat - Scanning filters: The Mark 37 possesses a large suite of shielded sensors placed throughout the suit's frame, these sensors take in data from the surrounding area constantly, and feed the collected information to Forge's HUD, where it is converted into visual data that he can access. The HUD is even capable of using a series of filters to highlight a specific type of information. This can range from simple data projections to detailed breakdowns of an object or enemy's capabilities or statistical information. Forge has installed two Combat oriented filters into the Mark 37, but due to their large processing requirements, he is only capable of using one at a time.
Connectivity - Flight: The Mark 37 comes equipped with a pair of powerful thrusters built into the boots, these thrusters allow Forge to hover or fly through the air with a top speed of 150 mph. These thrusters are supplemented by a series of small maneuvering jets that are arrayed along the suits back and shoulders, these jets are protected by small plates of armor that retract when the suit is in flight, and allow the suit to turn sharply even at a high rate of speed. (hovering does not require these jets because of it's lower speed.)
The jets themselves are also assisted by a series of flaps, when extended fully, these flaps are capable of bringing Forge to a complete stop from top speed in roughly 1.3 seconds, they can also be used as a turning aid when Forge is at top speed, though to turn on a dime, he still needs to slow down to a minimum of 100 mph.
Downloaded Programs: Combat - Bullet Time: This DP is an unnatural extension of Forge's already overclocked Processor. This DP overwrites the safeties on Forge's clock rate and multiplies his processor's input by three times, and his output by five times (a x6 boost to input and a Output boost of x5 times respectively.) This high clock rate alter's Forge's perception of time, making everything seem to move slower, though in reality, he is actually speeding up.
However, this DP only works for 1 post, and requires 7 posts to recharge, as the strain on Forge's body would otherwise be crippling. If for whatever reason (I.E. scripted events.) he forces the program to continue running after it is safe to do so, he will be rendered immobile for as many posts as he was using it over the limit (for example, if he were to use this DP for 3 turns longer than he normally would be allowed, he will be immobile for 3 turns after he deactivates the DP, and the DP will not begin to recharge until after he is capable of moving again.)
SCRIPTED ONLY: In a dire situation, Forge is capable of overclocking his processors even further, up to fifteen times faster than the norm. (That is, both input and output are x15 faster, not the boost itself.)
(That is, both input and output are x15 faster, not the boost itself.) This causes events around him to seemingly slow to almost a dead stop, in this state his is capable of walking past a hail of gunfire unharmed, tactically looking at a situation and altering things to suit his needs, or take a gun from an opponents hands and disassemble it before they even know what happened.
Combat - Micro Missiles(x50): This DP causes a swarm of 50 cigar sized rockets to fire from hidden ports on Forge's armor, these rockets can be dumb-fired, in which case they will simply fire outwards in a fan shaped wave in front of Forge, or they can be locked on to various targets, or one target if Forge thinks that it needs to be destroyed right away, these rockets are vulnerable to chaff, as they use an electronic sensor to seek their target.
They can also be dodged if the target times it just right, but if they are off, the rocket is liable to swing around and blast them from behind. This DP deals an extreme amount of Damage(for all rockets on one target) or a light amount of damage(per rocket) and requires a 4 turn cooldown before it can be used again.
Combat - Virus purge: This DP does exactly as it's name implies, it can instantly either purge Forge or another avatar of a viral infection, though it requires one turn for the purge to activate, and if Forge wishes to purge another avatar, he needs to be in physical contact to do so.
This DP requires a 6 turn cooldown before it can be used again. Plot driven infections are purged at the infector, or infected's discretion, depending on the circumstances of the plot line.
Combat - Photon Cannon: This DP is Forge's most powerful attack, it re-routes all of the Mark 37's available energy into it's chest mounted energy projector and fires it in a massive cone shaped blast of raw energy. This blast is capable of instantly vaporizing anything caught in the center of it's beam, and anything on the outer edges is liable to have a limb or two burned off in less than a second.
The beam produces an incredible amount of heat (500 degrees centigrade), this causes any non fatal wounds to cauterize instantly, this impairs regenerative healing abilities, doubling the amount of time it takes to heal a wound (Two turns to regrow a limb and remove any damage taken.). However, this attack also leaves Forge vulnerable, as his back-up power supply is only capable of powering his flight jets and palm mounted energy cannons.
The cone fires in a 40 degree arc for a distance of 150 feet, any character caught within the center 20 degrees of the cones radius is instantly deleted, anything within the remaining 10 degrees, or the last 25 feet of the blast's range is injured and suffers from a healing debuff for 3 posts. This DP requires a post to charge before firing, leaves Forge vulnerable for 3 posts, and requires 10 posts to cool down before he can use the DP again, the Cooldown does not start until Forge has regained use of his other DP's and add-ons.

- Armor scanner: This filter is dedicated to analyzing an enemy's armor or shielding and exposing any weaknesses in either it's materials or in it's structure. When Forge scans an enemy with this filter, it lists the materials that the armor is made of (Steel, Photonic resonance barrier, Titanium, Mithril, etc.) and tunes his weapons to penetrate that specific material. This is usually the method used against energy or elemental barriers, as solid armors and shields can easily render the fine tuned weapons ineffective by using a mixture of alloys in layers, as the suit would need to calibrate for the new material that it is encountering.
Another option is to identify and highlight structural weaknesses in an enemy's armor. Gaps, rivets, handholds, anything that can be shot through or pulled off with enough force. Forge prefers to use this scanning method to remove an enemy's armor, as it not only gives him a bigger target, but also allows his allies to aim for the now exposed opponent.
- Stealth Filter: This scanning filter uses a mixture of Thermal, light based, and aural scanners to expose an enemy using cloaking fields or chameleon-type color camouflage. This scanner allows Forge to fight against enemy's using stealth programs, however, it is not X-ray vision or a motion tracker, if an enemy get's behind him, or if they use the terrain to hide, he cannot locate them without someone else's help. The Filter is also limited to as far as Forge can see, if it's beyond his visual range, he won't be able to see the enemy.
