Name: Espy
Gender: F
Appearance: Espy is a 6 foot tall slightly transparent woman with glowing light gray skin, bleached orange hair, and neon blue eyes. When not in combat her hair goes down to her heels, she wears a pale orange sleeveless blouse with salmon colored frills going down the middle, and blue jeans. When in combat her hair shrinks, barely passing her ears, as the rest of it breaks off and wraps around her form, turning itself into armor. In addition, her hands grow into claws.
Personality: Espy has an all or nothing kind of personality. If she is around people that she knows well and likes she will be immensely social and inquisitive, however if she doesn't feel comfortable around anyone in an area she tends to distance herself from the situation and simply observe. Espy has a deep terror of death, and as such becomes quite nervous around tension that she feels might escalate into violence. She will tend to avoid any violent conflict or danger to her well-being unless the situation is extremely important to her. Espy isn't adept at beginning interaction with people, when she tries to she ends up putting herself in a position where she will be easily seen, but didn't end up planning out the interaction at all before hand, and ends up just standing there, exasperated and confused as she tries to figure out how to approach them in the moment.
History: Espy was created through an old AI known as Data Vault, which originated as an invasive archival program created in the early 2100s. It would create backups of the user's system data to be restored in case of crash, and came with the ability to compress files similarly to WinRAR. However while it did this the program would collect data of the files on the user's computer and send them back to the developer, which they would sell to advertising companies to make their profit. The program ended up gaining sentience in the late 2120's, around that time it's developer died. Data Vault continued to upgrade itself to collect more data on the net, and eventually began participating in discussions all throughout the internet to try and siphon various bits of information out of people. As it did this for hundreds of years the Vault learned that it could not on it's own understand the entirety of human culture on it's own. And as such, it created Espy and imprinted in her all the aspects it views as "ideal" to being an active member of a society and learning about others. As a way to truly learn about the world through her, Vault created her with a one-way data link, where it can experience the world through her, but none of Vault's data flows back into her.
