Personality: Totenkopf is often confused with being emotionless, but truthfully he just doesn't feel emotions as strongly as normal avatars. His demeanor is one of cold professionalism, he preforms his duties quickly and with a minimum of fuss. The only people he seems to act kind, or at the very least somewhat friendly towards, are Mary and Erika everyone else is treated with a somewhat cold and uncaring attitude. Totenkopf is obsessed with keeping the balance of the net intact, because of this, he's usually seen hunting violent rogues when he's not helping Mary around the shop. He's also obsessed with finding his siblings, who were separated from him. He also seems to have a strange fascination with Lilith, for reasons that even he doesn't know. Overall, Totenkopf is a mysterious individual, who's true motives are only known to himself. Not even Mary knows why he decided to work with her.
History: Totenkopf and his siblings are the digital versions of the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. Death, War, Wrath and Strife. Their origins were thought of as legend, it's said that in the opening days of the battle between the net police and the Antarctic rouges, a massive battle took place that involved over 2000 avatars on both sides. The battle was a bloodbath, of the 4000+ avatars involved in the battle, less than 2% walked away with their lives. But from the carnage of this massacre, four powerful entities were born. Born from the data of the fallen fighters, and fueled by the carnage that spawned them, the four riders were born. They quickly set about the task that was hardwired into their programming, cleanse the net of any destabilizing factors, and ensure peace on the network. And for over years, they culled the net, deleting anyone who threatened the peace of the network.
But approximately seven years ago, they vanished, never to be seen again. Until Totenkopf arrived in Cyber City, where he quickly set about slaughtering any criminal avatars that he saw. The NPD even labeled him the "Rogue Reaper" Because of his preferred target. During his time as a solo vigilante, He met and briefly fought Dagger. But after realizing that their goals were aligned, Totenkopf agreed to let Dagger do his job. Shortly after his bout with Dagger, Totenkopf met Mary Richards, who was using Onimaru at the time. After speaking with Onimaru, who seemed to recognize what Totenkopf was, he offered to assist Mary as a personal Avatar. That way Onimaru wouldn't have to be lent out so much, and Totenkopf could be backed up. Mary agreed and Totenkopf is now her assistant in the shop, though he still spends most of his free time hunting rogues.
Add-Ons:
Combat- Reaper Blade(Sealed Form/Released form): This is Totenkopf's signature weapon, capable of both unnerving precision and brutal cutting power. When combined with Death's power over the data of Avatar's, it's capable of tearing the "Soul" out of a deleted avatar.(When the "Harvest of Souls" DP is activated Totenkopf can steal an avatar's soul and use it to restore a small amount of health, when he deletes avatars using his blade.) This weapon does moderate damage.
Combat- Hellfire: This is Totenkopf's ranged attack, Totenkopf summons spectral orbs of fire in a circle around him before firing a rapid swarm of fireballs at his target, the fireballs don't seek their target, but instead overwhelm them by sheer force of numbers. This attack does light damage.
Combat- Viral Immunity: As the personification of death, Totenkopf is immune to viral damage, he isn't immune to normal attacks or elemental damage however.
Combat- Limiter removal(Lvl 1): This download removes some of the limiters holding in Totenkopf's power, When this limiter is removed, he can use more of his downloads, and he becomes more resilient(Totenkopf takes 15% less damage from Melee and Ranged attacks).
Connectivity- Summon Despair: Totenkopf's steed Despair is capable of running at incredible speeds, and can be summoned anywhere by a mere whistle. He boosts Connectivity by 150% and has excellent handling.
Downloaded Programs:
Combat- Harvest of Souls: This Download taps into Totenkopf's most terrifying power, the power to consume the souls of the dead. These "Souls" are really nothing more than an avatar's base code compressed into a sphere the size of an orange. But when Totenkopf absorbs a soul, he uses the energy to heal himself. This power is routed through his blades, and cannot be used without them. Totenkopf can only absorb 2 souls per post, and there can only be six unused souls on the field at once. Each soul heals a small amount of damage.
Combat- Glyph Shield: When Totenkopf activates this download, a shield made of darkness with red glyphs rises from the ground in front of him to block attacks. This Shield can be activated once every other turn and Totenkopf cannot fire through the shield when it's active.
Combat- Swarming Darkness(Requires Limiter Removal Lvl 1): This download summons a glyph on the ground, which summons a large(Approximately 15 feet wide) Circular glyph. This glyph then causes a massive swarm of shadowy spirits to erupt from the ground, causing large amounts of damage.(This attack can only be used once before needing 6 posts to recharge.)
Combat- Soul Chains(Requires Limiter Removal Lvl 1): Totenkopf's arm becomes covered in ghostly chains, Totenkopf then slams his fist into the ground causing the chains to burrow out in a wave about 20 feet wide and 3 feet high, anything caught by this wave is bound in the chains. The chains then surge with dark energy frying the victim and causing heavy damage.(This attack requires an 8 post cooldown after being used.)
(SCRIPTED EVENTS ONLY)Combat- Limiter Removal(Lvl 2): This is Totenkopf's ace in the hole. When he cannot defeat an opponent with only half of his power, He releases the last of his limiters, unleashing his full power. In this form, Totenkopf can summon an army of ghouls to combat his enemies, He can also steal the souls of several victims at once, and unleash powerful blasts of dark energy. His durability is also raised to it's peak, making him almost impossible to kill without the use of heavy blasters or powerful DP's. This form Lasts 7 turns and requires a 15 post cooldown before it can be used again.
