The former poster boy of the NPD, Sirius doesn't like it when people talk about his avatar "X" because it reminds him of the failure he had in the past. Sirius is very strict on himself and when on duty is by the book and emotionless when he battles his opponents or does his job. Even in the office he doesn't often fraternize and is more of a lone wolf socially because he believes the best way to protect his co-workers from him is to not get attached. This is also why he will not bond with an avatar very thoroughly and has refused attempts by his superiors to get him to accept a new permanent avatar from them. Sirius is also very self reliant, refusing to accept charity from others and preferring to do missions that he's assigned himself as a solo act. Typically he's also of the mentality to finish jobs in a hurry so he can get back to his pursuit of knowledge as he one day plans on creating the perfect Avatar something that he actually dreams of. Sirius no longer desires the fame of being the 'Wonder Cop' of the NPD because to him it is simply a title that he failed at. It reminds him too many times of his failures as the Wonder Cop namely that he allowed X in a moment of weakness to keep stubbornly fighting.

When Sirius was 3 years of age his parents were on a family trip and he was left with his uncle who he didn't know at the time was someone who loved to experiment on people. His uncle immediately put Sirius under anesthetic and performed what amounted to brain surgery on him implanting a device inside him that would allow him to do more than a regular user could because he'd be able to access the data faster. The implant was a way to better synchronize the human it was implanted into with their avatar so that they could operate it more efficiently. Yet when it was discovered that this had been done his uncle was arrested by the NPD. Uncomfortable with the idea of a youth possessing the power to synchronize on a deep level and control technology with little more than brain power if that ability ever manifested itself the NPD essentially took over caring for him.
Under the care of the NPD Sirius was raised to be one of them and eventually became the Golden Boy of the Net Ops and the NPD. Becoming one of their best operatives Sirius quickly attracted the eye of the public with the skill he possessed with the mysterious avatar known simply as "X" but as fate would have it bad things happen to good people. During what was to be a routine mission a swarm of viruses that had never before been seen attacked his avatar. The viruses were deleted but X couldn't be saved. For about two years as he was 10 at the time Sirius refused to accept another avatar and managed to get a leave of absence from the Net Police Department.
Using the leave of absence Sirius read up on coding and programming. Determined he wouldn't get attached to another avatar Sirius created a couple of avatars a duo that was similar to his original X, but lacked the personality and also the power of the avatar. Those would be the ones he decided that he'd use when doing missions for the Net Police while he'd build himself a custom one that he'd use for himself. By the time he became 13 Sirius was back in the service of the Net Police while also going to school via tutors and private educators. Learning rather quickly Sirius soaked up knowledge because he knew he had to. Turning 19 recently, Sirius has graduated from being the 'Wonder Cop' of the NPD and has become just another agent actually.

S-5 Cortical Implant: Implanted in him when he was but 3 years old this implant possesses all the capabilities of a V5 Terminal and also easier access because it's hands free. This implant has more functions than just that. One capability of the implant is that it allows heightened control of an Avatar. But the 2nd ability is what makes this technology a bit morally gray and also perhaps dangerous if sabotaged. For the second ability allows the individual a way to input their mind into the Avatar's Frame, controlling them with their mind alone. While they are doing this their body is in a deep stasis like sleep where their subconscious controls features like breathing and what not.
