BGM: Lord Usa's Elemental Flag
More credits again. The arcade's running smoothly. No technical errors have risen, and the exchange seems to have gone smoothly. Coin designs seem pretty good, too. Hard to replicate, shiny and distinct just on a single glance. brings out the Ikoi name well.
Was that a "Fujiko" way of thinking? It certainly must be. Maybe she'd think more about the country she's traveled to itself. America was such an exciting area, so full of people and talking and... a widespread feeling. It was bigger, not taller. Japanese buildings were so tall people spent more of their lives in the sky rather than on the ground! But American buildings were wider, rarely even having three floors if they're not in the city! Maybe this was why Americans have a saying like... oh, how is it spoken... "down to Earth"?
Even if there was an English translator built into MAO, MAO is having a very difficult time overcoming the culture shock.
But it's a good thing fighting does not require a culture to understand! Fujiko gave very specific orders, to promote arcade and help people with the games. And then to do showcase matches and deliver prizes! The matches were very important. Fujiko was to be part of tournaments, but if Fujiko doesn't understand match mechanics and the powers of Westerner Avatars, then she would only be for show. And Madam Fujiko would be no showgirl for anyone! MAO would do her best today to gather information about the "metagame" of battling! Oh but MAO is not a battle Avatar. Show avatar, game calculator. Recently added downloads for combat, but they're still new. Will she be fine? Oh, and it will be a triple battle. MAO will be at disadvantage, then?
She replaced the bills in her hand and shook her head no as she contacted her operator. Her temporary operator, at least; Fujiko had left for a business meeting. A representative would be operating MAO and installing add-ons in Fujiko's place. While it was unnerving for MAO to know that her combative weakness would only be further accentuated by the lack of moral support from her owner, this was also a time to impress Fujiko! So here she would stand, ready to do what she could for the good of the IKOI Company!
...She hoped!
