Name: Gat
Avatar Style: Ranged combat: Assault Weaponry
Gender: Male
Appearance: Link
User: N/A
Personality: Gat is the definition of a gun toting psychopath, he enjoys shooting up any peaceful event and deleting anything he sees. Be it an avatar, sprite, or virus, he just enjoys the thought of killing anything in sight. Still, even though he enjoys killing, sometimes he can go a little too far and torment his targets, physically and verbally. He loves killing even more when he can make a living out of it, often resulting in him being a gun for hire for many companies. Due to his homicidal nature, he is often brought in and out of virtual prisons across the world.
History: Gat was formed from the many websites harboring information about guns, gangs, and anything revolving around crime. When he first came to be, he found himself in the middle of nowhere, a barren wasteland of data. There, he just shot and deleted any virus that came his way. But that alone didn't satisfy the insatiable urge to shoot and kill anything in his sight, eventually, he made his way to other networks, terrorizing civilian avatars and deleting his fair share of sprites and peaceful rogue avatars. His willing and eagerness to delete was noticed by several different companies, and he soon learned that he could be paid big money to kill. be it an avatar that needed dismantling or a human who needed mutilating, he hacked his way into anything that would get the job done and get out without much notice.
One big hit he took pride in was the deletion of a rookie cop's avatar, taking control of an empty AI shell while this officer was traveling too close to the border of town, and destroyed his terminal, also leaving the boy badly beaten and bruised, before the kid could get a lucky shot off with his pistol. He never learned how that kid recovered after the incident, until miraculously meeting him face to face in some strange virtual world meant to be an amusement park for humans, sprites, and avatars alike. He almost had the kid, and some other runt killed, if it wasn't for the kid's replacement avatar coming to his rescue. The avatar was much more skilled than he anticipated, and had him pinned and behind bars not too long after coming to his human master's aid. Now he sits in holding, waiting for his sentence, and planning every possible escape route in the process.
Add-Ons:
Combat - Dual automatic Data Spammers: These blasters take shape similar to futuristic versions of Uzis. They have limitless ammo, but aren't very powerful. Accuracy is also reduced when not firing in bursts.
Combat - Assault Armor: Gat's favorite suit when he goes on a shooting spree. It has a wrist-mounted, automatic data Spammer on the right side, and a wrist-mounted, semi-automatic DeRez rifle on his left. The right mounted gun is also fully automatic, with unlimited ammo, but does about twice as much damage as one of his default data blasters. These guns are attached to a pack on
Combat - Sawblade Mod: Gat's spammer(s) Can change from automatic machine pistols, to automatic disk launchers that fire circular saw blades that deal additional cutting damage. This disables all bullet Mods.
Combat - Rebound Shot Mod: Bullets bounce off of surfaces a total of 3 times, or until hitting an avatar, sprite, or virus, whichever comes first. Disables non-elemental bullet mods.
Connectivity - Rocket pack and boots: The pack on Gat's back (armor pic) also can function as a rocket pack, boosting him in midair. Thrusters on his boots provide some stability while moving around, but he can't fire randomly without risking throwing off his balance. The only time he can fire accurately is while he's leaping up from the ground, and using the momentum and angle of the liftoff as his line of sight. When not wearing his armor (which is very rare) the pack merely materializes on his back.
Downloaded Programs:
Combat - Frag Round Mod: Bullets fired by Gat's automatic data blasters cause minor explosive damage with a one yard blast radius from the impact. lasts three posts, 4 post reload time.
Combat - Incendiary Round Mod: Bullets fired from Gat's rifle cause additional burn damage. Disables other elemental mods, effects last 2 posts on avatars
Combat - Freeze Round Mod: Bullets fired by Gat's spammers cause freeze damage, and can slow an avatar down with every direct hit. The spammer on Gat's armor does additional freeze damage. Disables other elemental mods, effects linger for 2 posts.
Combat - Corruption Round Mod: Gat's only viral mod. Bullets fired from his rifle deal viral corruption damage to any avatar hit. Corruption levels and area of effect depends on the player, but area of effect has different effects depending on location of impact. Anywhere near the head can cause vision, hearing or speech to become broken, or weak. Limbs will lag in movement, and seem less fluid, throwing off the avatars timing, and a center mass shot can cause one of any effect to a single part of the body. Enough corrupted rounds could even risk infecting the avatar's logic programming and temporarily pit them against their allies while their antivirus software cleans them out. Other effects are to be determined in gameplay.
Combat - Piercing Mod: Bullets have additional armor piercing damage, breaking through armor easier while active. Lasts for 2 posts, 3 post cool-down.
Combat - Shock-net launcher Mod: One of Gat's least favorite mods, given to him by a previous employer for a capture and kidnap mission. This net can paralyze an avatar for 2 turns if it successfully snares them in its trap.
Combat - Flamethrower Gun Mod: Gat's rifle changes into a flamethrower. Range of attack is 10 yards, mod shuts down after three posts worth of consistent firing, or 3 time use limit, whichever happens in the current battle. Cool-down: 3 posts.
Combat - Shotgun Mod: Gat can change either his rifle (armored) or his spammer (only one if not armored) into a close range shotgun with spreader bullet rounds. Deactivation is manual, no limit until deactivation.
Combat - Grenade Launcher Mod: A grenade launcher attachment fuses to Gat's wrist-mounter spammer, allowing for 2 grenade shots that can explode in a 5 yard radius upon impact. Cool-down of 4 posts.
Combat - Rocket Launcher Mod|"The Ex-Wife": Gat's rifle converts into an RPG, firing an unguided missile. Blast radius is 15 yards wide, and deals bonus explosive damage the closer to the center of the blast you are. 1 time use, 7 post cool-down.
Combat - Wave Launcher Mod: Modifies Gat's rifle into a slicing wave launcher. The range is medium, unlike the rifle's long range, but deals cutting damage to opponents. 5 shot limit, 3 post cool-down.
Combat - Sure-Shot Targeting System: Gat's visor glows slightly, a targeting retina forming in his center of view. Can auto-target a maximum of 10 targets, and Gat can select his targets manually. All bullets fired will home in on any one of these auto-targeted (whichever's closest) individuals. Use limit of 3 posts, 5 post cool-down. When not armored, a simple visor will form around Gat's eyes. Sure Shot homing rounds adjust trajectory to attack an avatar center mass, but are still avoidable if fast enough.
Combat - Bullet redirection field: A barrier around Gat that lasts for a single post. Gat uses up all available processing power to deflect and redirect bullets away from the center, where Gat is, and even heavy beam and missile attacks. The stronger the ranged attack, the more power needed, and the fewer mods required to be active at the time. While active, Gat cannot move, and bullets just slide around him. The excessive amount of processing power needed for this program forces a cool down of 6 posts.
Connectivity - Thruster Stabilizers: Small, 18" rudder wings attach to Gat's rocket pack, allowing for additional stability, and the ability to slightly correct his flight path in midair.

Redirection field effects and required use of processing power
Normal or modded bullet rounds: 1 DP slot required. Homing bullets can reach Gat's defenses, and require the 2 DP slot requirement listed below.
Redirecting something as large as a boulder twice the size of his body at its largest: 1 DP slot redirects it to avoid hitting him dead on, 2 DP slots steer it away from the body. Rockets and projectile explosives also fit into this category (explosions included, as long as it isn't a remote detonated blast that can trigger after the effect of the field's duration). Rockets with a homing function can still hit Gat, but only barely enough to set off an explosion. Gat will be hurt by the explosion, but only by about half the normal damage, as the redirection field will try to push the explosion away from him the moment the homing system is deactivated.
Redirecting a connectivity vehicle the size of a small truck or smaller: 3 DP slots available. Anything larger than a personal transport vehicle will either graze Gat, or hit him directly, considering speed and size taken into effect.
