These are templates for avatar characters, in case people are having difficulty coming up with an idea. These were originally characters approved before the forum was remodeled, and before the new character sheet rules and program use rules were established. So try not to take these templates to heart, and only use them as a way to brainstorm ideas for characters you might want to make:
Name: Illusion Man
Avatar Style: Personal
Gender: Male
Appearance: [removed]
Personality: An off the walls, playfully insane character of an avatar. Gregory attributes his behavior to a glitch that he's too lazy to fix (but really just hasn't the heart to do so). IM is quick to tease yet quick to please, making people unhappy against his nature.
History: Illusion Man always has been and always will be Gregory's avatar. Given to him on his fifth birthday as present form his parents, the two have been an inseparable pair of bosom buddies ever since. IM is housed on Gregory's portable network device and can transfer to his personal static terminal at will for database upkeep.
Built in equipment: Electro Cane.Exe is a moderately low power combat program. Trickster Cards.Exe is an entertainment program with very limited combat capabilities.
Available Programs: Blade Hat.Exe (a very spiffy combat mod that he wants, but Gregory refuses to get him), Ringmaster Outfit.Exe (a cosmetic upgrade which makes him look like a circus ringmaster)
User: Gregory Matthews
Name: Rotor
Avatar Style: Net Cop Assault Unit
Gender: 'Male'
Appearance: [removed]
Personality: Straight to the point, almost robotic, obsessed with following the law to the letter, extremely brutal on viruses.
History: The assigned avatar of Frank Jameson, given to him during his Academy days, Rotor has been programmed to fit Frank's personality. Infamous amongst the net cop avatars to being extremely tough on all forms of cyber crime.
Built in equipment: Combat: Hyper-Drill.exe, Drill-Bomb.exe.
Available Programs: Giga-Drill.exe (Frank is saving it for a 'Birthday Present'), Hyper-Armor.Exe (still in development).
User: Frank Jameson
Name: Faust
Avatar Style: Infiltration Unit
Gender: Depends on the Moment
Appearance: [removed]
Personality: Fuast is the complete manifestation of his master's will, an unhinged, egomaniacal lunatic bent on the despair and suffering of others, the most he can do when around other programs and their users is a mockery of cordial behavior barely restraining an urge to attempt to completely delete everyone around him (the only restraining factor is that he wasn't designed for combat and would therefore be slaughtered without a sufficient ambush).
History: The avatar of the secretive hacker and 'Troll', S1G Fr3udM@N, Faust has been the backbone behind most of the malignant internet criminal's schemes. Faust can take on the guise of any avatar he has come in contact with right down to the source code, allowing for complete infiltration of all but the most secure of net installations. Rumor has it that Faust was partly constructed from virus programs which allow for his abnormal powers and the amorphous nature of his non-shapeshifted form.
Built in equipment: Shapeshift.exe (Exactly what that implies), Compelling Glare.exe (a semi-viral program that compels programs without at least moderately low protection to do his will).
Available Programs: None, being a non-consumer, heavily-specialized, avatar, Faust is unable to use garden variety programs. This helps fuel Faust's ego that he is the future of avatars even though it actively prevents him from improving.

Since these characters are grandfathered in from the first active run of this forum, they are available for cameo appearances by staff members
