Jake came to a screeching halt when he finally reached the crash site, lifting the visor of his helmet to get a clearer view of the scene "Good...Lord..."
What could only be described as a train wreck was before him, a transport bus had collided with a cargo truck and the two cars were crashed into the corner of a street. Ambulances and police vehicles filled the entire area, medics carrying multiple people to their transport vehicles before driving off with another ambulance replacing it not too long after.
Jake closed his visor and rode cautiously up to the scene, spotting a familiar face near the collided bus and truck. He pulled over nearby and after removing his helmet, approached the woman "What happened here Kate?"
Kate, better known by everyone here as Lieutenant Kathryn Bale, turned and stared darkly at Jake "Took you long enough to get here Derrix, what kept you?" Jake scratched his head nervously "Sorry, but I'm supposed to keep my identity quiet. No siren to bypass traffic." Kate sighed heavily and pinched the bridge of her nose "Whatever. The traffic light went haywire, according to the drivers. I'm sure Baretta told you the situation?"
Jake nodded "Yeah, a possible hacker, right?" Kate nodded "Yes, which means we'll need some extra talent for this job, and you're it. Jack into the traffic network with some of the police avatars and check for any viruses that may have been left behind to cause more chaos." Jake gave Kate the thumbs up, a bit more casual of a salute than Kate usually prefers, but she shrugged it off "Understood, I'll get right on it."
He walked up to the traffic light post and lifted up the lid to his terminal, several of the police officers did the same, some with handhelds, some with terminals similar to Jake's "Here goes Saber...All units, log in now!"
