A strange pair (Grufurion)

Noxus waited for Seras to get into position before activating his armor, he then snuck into the destroyed warehouse. He could smell the viral code in the air, the destruction that Viral had caused left a pungent stink in the air. 'So much destruction...and this war is only beginning.' 

Noxus eventually reached the center of the warehouse, only to find that there was nothing, not a single scrap of code. "Impossible! that code was incredibly virulent, the only way it could have vanished was if-" "Someone got to it first?" Noxus spun around just in time for a blade to impale him through the gut. "gah-uggh..." Noxus looked up at his attacker, and saw...nothing, the figure that had him impaled was nothing more than a hazy silhouette. "W-what are you?"

The shadow laughed, and revealed itself to be one of Abraxas' drones, but it was far more intelligent, far more lethal. "I'm what happens when Evolve merges with a drone...but I've evolved. I have gained the ability to cloak, to transform myself into something far more powerful than those idiotic generals."

The drone lifted Noxus up and threw him through several walls, chuckling in a dark manner. He then transformed into another form, this one looking like a more armored drone. He then stalked through the halls, coming to the injured Noxus, who was struggling to his feet. "This form is my favorite...I love what it's cannon can do." The drone leveled the cannon at Noxus and fired a blazing hot bolt of plasma, the shot having enough force to blast Noxus through the front of the warehouse, sending him sprawling in a heap on the asphalt.

Seras blinked as she watched Noxus fly out of the wall of the warehouse building, fairly certain that wasn't a part of the plan. "Well something strong was in there. Alright then, parameters met. Personality shift engaged!" As she said this, her eyes shifted from blue to red, and gained a menacing smirk on her face. As her Strength Boost activated, she engaged her Enhanced Sight program. Leveling the sight of her weapon, she soon began firing potshots on the armored beast making its way out of the warehouse. "GET SOME! she yelled.

The Drone felt the first shot blow a baseball sized hole in it's shoulder, which quickly healed, then there was another, then another. The drone looked up and saw the source of the shots, a girl holding an obnoxiously large rifle lying prone on the roof a a building across the street. He let out a huff of annoyance and brought up his gun arm, charging a large blast of plasma. "How annoying..." The drone fired, and the blast obliterated the roof of the building, smoke billowing from the burning hole he had created.

"Now that that nusience his done with, time to-" The drone looked down, only to See Noxus inches away, his fist pulled back to punch him in the skull. "KILL ME!?" Noxus struck the drone in the head, sending him flying through the front of the warehouse, but it didn't keep the virus down for long. The front of the building glowed red and exploded, the drone aiming at Noxus with it's hand raised as it began to open fire. "Why yes, that is what I'm going to do..." Plasma shots flew through the air, exploding when they struck a building, speeder, or even just the ground.

Suddenly there was a loud "TRUMP THIS!" yell from the building Seras had been on, followed by the loud concussive burst of a cannon shot. The smoke billowed around the end of a cannon barrel, and the shell traveled the distance from the building to the warehouse. The shot traveled with accuracy, impacting in front of the drone, and exploding in a mighty burst. As the smoke dissipated, Seras stood where the drones shot hit, and holding a massive anti-tank cannon.

Noxus looked at Seras and nodded, "Excellent shot Seras." "How unfortunate that it will be your last!" The drone sprinted from the wreckage, a hypo-stim filled with Evolve clutched in its claw. "Let us see how you fair when your mental programming rots inside your skull woman!"

The Drone leaped through the air, firing his cannon with one hand and bringing down the stim with the other. Noxus shoved Seras out of the way, grabbing the drone by the wrists. The drone tried to twist his arms free of the hold, and pried his wrist free from Noxus' hand, the Drone lunged forward and accidentally drove the stim into Noxus' neck. "NO! You're immune, you wasted my last stimpack you fool!"

The Drone pulled it's other hand free and smashed Noxus in the face with a vicious backhand, drove the barrel of it's cannon into his chest, and fired 10 times, blowing a multitude of holes in Noxus' chest. Noxus dropped to the ground, and the drone began to stomp on his prone body. "No one will recognize you when I'm through!"

A loud thud was heard before the Drone would feel something on its back. Seras' Harkonnen laid on the roof after being dropped there, but she wasn't in sight. That is until she latched herself on the drones back, and took as massive of a chomp of its shoulder, ripping the data off before jumping away. She flew several feet backwards, and landed on the rooftop across the alleyway, chewing away at the data she just ripped out before consuming it. She then game a wicked grin, apparently ready for the main course.

The drone roared in pain and anger, whipping around and firing at Seras. "Die you whore!"

Noxus lay on the pavement, his body limp. To the uninformed, he looked dead, but he wasn't. In fact, he was about to become more powerful than ever. The Evolve virus' code coursed through his body, altering his already potent body alteration abilities, spreading them throughout his armor, granting him new powers.

Noxus' wounds began to seal shut as his body's alterations were completed, a black mist burst from his body, and his eyes snapped open, glowing purple. Noxus shakily got to his feet, looked at his hands, and began to laugh. 

"So this is the power that Evolve grants...yes, I can definitely use this!" Noxus looked up as the drone began to fire at Seras, letting out a growl. The Evolve had altered Noxus' personality, he was still intelligent, still in control of his emotions, but there was something different about him. Noxus had become more in touch with his viral personality, Noxus' emotional grid had finally been completed, and right now it told him only one thing.

'He's trying to hurt her...I'll rip him in two!' Noxus snarled and sprinted forward, smashing the Drone in the spine, "Do NOT touch that woman!" Noxus grabbed the drone by the head and planted it's face into the pavement, stomping on it's back and roaring in anger. "SHE IS TOO BEAUTIFUL FOR YOU TO EVEN LOOK AT, AND YOU DARE TO LAY A FINGER ON HER!?" Noxus kicked the drone in the stomach, the force of the kick propelling it into the air. "Now...DIE!" Noxus reared his fist back and punched the drone in the stomach as hard as he could, sending it flying.

Noxus looked at Seras before walking over, even behind the faceless helmet that he wore, the admiration in his eyes was rather clear. Noxus had been smitten with Seras since he had first seen her, her confidence and beauty were things that he desired greatly, and now that his altered emotional grid had granted him increased confidence, he wasn't afraid to show it. "I know this is sudden, but you're incredibly beautiful...even when your acting feral like this." Noxus chuckled somewhat, increased confidence did not mean increased social skills, he would need to work on his flirtatious remarks.

Seras was a little shocked that Noxus had managed to make a come back, the holes that had been in his chest completely gone. She had thought he was a goner because of that. While she was blushing from his words, she poked his chest, and asked, "How did you get back up? I saw you get shot by that asshole."

[Mani4c]

Noxus shrugged, "I would assume that the Evolve healed me while it was altering my code structure, I don't feel like I can heal wounds on a whim...though I could perhaps seal them."

A sudden roar of anger gained Noxus' attention, the Drone having burst from the building it had been smashed into, blood running down it's carapace. "I will not be beaten by you!" Noxus chuckled, his arm reforming into a large cannon (Weapon Name: Path Blaster, Damage: High, Fire Rate: Normal, Special ability: None)).  He raised his arm above his head, before leveling it at the drone in a grand sweeping motion. "I don't recall asking for your opinion." The slide of the cannon slid back on it's own, a loud *clack* signaling the the gun was now loaded. "Seras, I would like us to...share this moment."

The drone roared in anger and charged Noxus, firing his arm blaster relentlessly, Noxus just scoffed. "Seras my dear, there is something my brother says when it comes to weapons like ours...perhaps you've heard of it." Noxus took aim at the Drone's chest, "It goes like this..." Noxus fired a single shot, blasting the drone in the chest, the round knocked the drone back, revealing a hole in it's armor and "blood" leaking from the wound. "Bitches...Love...Cannons." Noxus then began to fire over and over again, blasting the drone, knowing that Seras would do the same.

"I like that, I think I'll use it from now on," Seras commented her opinion. Dropping her Harkonnen, deciding to postpone the time it would take to DE-materialize the cannon, and pulled out her rifle to aim at the drone. "Upgrade this bitch!" she called out as she began firing in control bursts at the drone.

[Mani4c]

The combined barrage from Noxus and Seras blasted apart the drone's armor, ripping the plates from it's body and leaving large, bloody holes in it's torso. The Drone roared in pain and dropped to the ground, holding itself up with it's arms to keep itself from collapsing completely.

Noxus stopped firing and deactivated the cannon, smirking under his helmet. He walked forward and grabbed the drone by the skull wrenching it upwards so it was kneeling with it's face aimed at the sky. "Seras...I...I feel hungry, but I'm a gentleman, do you want to feed, or should I?" Noxus' tone was noticeably different, he wasn't used to feeling predatory, and he was becoming dangerously close to losing control of himself.

[Grufurion]

"Go ahead, I already had a bite. Try to reel in that other side though. Trust me, I know how good it feels to let loose, but now isn't the time for that," Seras said with a wicked grin on her face while placing a hand on Noxus' shoulder.

[Mani4c]

Noxus nodded, taking a deep breath and rearing his hand back, his fingers arranged like a spade. He thrust his hand forward, his enhanced strength allowing him to easily breach the Drone's carapace and plunge his arm elbow deep into it's chest.

The drone's mouth was agape in a silent scream as Noxus wrapped his hand around a small orb in the drone's chest, it's source code. Noxus squeezed the orb, draining the data from it until the drone was nothing but a withered husk. Noxus swept his arm to the side, ripping apart the drone's chest, and crushed the orb in his fist, causing it to explode in a spray of black fluid.

Noxus' armor dissipated suddenly, revealing the half-virus. He was sweating, his breath coming in shaky gasps, his gaze flicked over to Seras, and he began to shake slightly. The Evolve in his system may not have destroyed his logic, but it was clear that it had still altered his personality somewhat. "I...I need a moment, and please...don't touch me, I uhh, I have some odd feelings flitting through my head right now, and a lot of them involve you." Noxus' voice was quaking, he wasn't exactly used to feeling emotion, let alone desire, and now it was hitting him all at once.

[Grufurion]

She took her hand from his shoulder, holding her hands behind her back after the DE-materialized her weapons. She then shifted back to civilian mode, her blue eyes scanning Noxus. "I kinda noticed. Are you going to be okay? You did get shot up that stuff you were warning me about," she asked in concern.

[Mani4c]

Noxus nodded, sucking in a breath and exhaling slowly. "I...I think I'll be fine." Noxus shook his head, his head clearing somewhat. "I apologize for that...I'm not used to having more defined emotions." Noxus was silent for a moment, before he looked at Seras, "Seras...this is going to sound completely insane, but...The Evolve's altered my personality, I used to lack an emotional grid, and over time I began to develop one...but now that I've been injected with that program...I think that it's finally complete."

Noxus smiled at the idea for a moment, but his face became forlorn again, there was something he needed to say. "But...there's a problem, when I first met you, I won't lie, I found you beautiful. Your eyes, your figure, your personality, all of it was incredibly alluring to me. But now...I think that I've developed a much deeper desire for you, and I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable. So...I wouldn't blame you if you wanted to just part ways after I vouch for you to the NPD."

[Grufurion]

"Heh, any girl with a shred of common sense probably would," Seras began, "Lucky you that bit of common sense is something I'm missing." She then lightly rapped him on the shoulder, being playful around Noxus. "This was actually kind of fun. I'll think I'll give this whole NPD thing a try, see if I can work with the rules while doing what I can."

[Mani4c]

Noxus smirked, "I appreciate the vote of confidence you show in me by not running away from me, thank you Seras." When Seras mentioned working within the boundries of the law, he chuckled. "If your unique abilities are any indication, Net Ops might be better for you, the rules are  more...relaxed. But be warned, what rules they are strict about, they enforce strictly, so if you need to take a perp down, try injuring them instead of outright deletion first."

[Grufurion]

"Hmm, sounds like I'm gonna have to rely on provided data packets from now on. I'm sure I can adjust to that, so it won't be all bad. I'm definitely going to have to restrict how much I use Harkonnen though. It can cause too much area damage if I'm not careful," Seras said. She was pretty sure causing damage to the city wouldn't be looked upon very highly.

[Mani4c]

Noxus nodded, "Thankfully the Harkonnen won't be necessary most of the time, we try not to turn our opponents into gibs." Noxus paused for a moment and smirked wickedly. "Though that does sound like fun. Regardless..." Noxus grabbed a flare and popped it, causing a spray of bright green sparks and smoke to billow from the end, he tossed the flare on the ground and pressed his finger to his ear. <This is Noxus, I need pickup with a civilian, look for the green flare please.>

[Grufurion]

"It is fun, pulling the trigger on such a powerful weapon, watching the shell explode in a fiery orchestra of sound and power! The feeling sends shivers up my spine!" Seras said. Her eyes were closed as she imagined everything all over again. She shuddered on the spot, and crossing her arms over her belly to hold her sides, which had the unfortunate act of making her bust be more noticeable.
