Victory Party(Saber, Prythian)

[Mani4c]

Alexi smirked, "True, but just because I have the charisma doesn't mean I use it." Samuel ignored the playful bickering and smirked when Jake mentioned Saber's emotional programming. "Emotions tend to work that way kid, just wait, some day you'll find Ms. Right and hormones'll do all the work for ya."

Erika smirked when Kate began to chastise Petra. "Take it easy Kate, what's a little tryst between friends? Hell, Mary and I have a semi-open relationship anyways." Alexi crossed his arm's and cocked an eyebrow. "Meaning?" Erika shrugged. "Well, if a person has a vested emotional and physical attraction to one or both of us, and me and Mary both approve of them, than we don't mind having intimate contact with them. Provided of course that the third party respect's our wishes and is careful. We usually narrow it down to people we know and trust completely however. Petra's a fellow officer and she's a genuinely nice person, so I wouldn't mind having a fling or two with her, and if it evolves into something more, and we take it from there."

Alexi nodded, Erika seemed to have actually thought this through, he wasn't exactly one to judge a person based on their sexual preferences. "Hmm, I can't believe I'm saying this, but you're making sense. Just be careful alright?" Erika nodded. "You know it, also, not to sound weird but, um...you and Kate are included in that if you ever want to..." Erika scratched the back of her head sheepishly. "If you want to I mean! No pressure or anything, I wouldn't ever force you two into something if you weren't 150% sure about it!" Alexi chuckled, "Thanks, I'm actually kind of flattered."

The Doctor pulled out his sonic screwdriver and scanned Viral, when he got the readings back his eyes widened. "Oh my...their sync rate is...Jesus almost 97%!" The Doctor showed Bit the numbers and addressed Baretta's second question as she studied them. "As for Saber, what do you want to know?"

[Saber]

Jake smirked and rolled his eyes when Alexi mentioned him eventually finding 'Ms. Right' "I know how the body works, Alexi, I'm not naive...Hang on, either the connection with the network is lagging, or Saber looks like he's having some trouble with sealing the deal." He started typing out a message for Saber, giving him a bit of friendly advice on what his next move should be.

Saber was looking into Mirrors eyes as well, not entirely sure what to do next himself. When he got a message from Jake that was sort of a form of advice [If you're going to kiss her, then do it, man.] Saber reacted slightly to the message, but not enough to make it awkward. A kiss...Was that what he was supposed to do next? Well, if they were going to become a couple, then he supposed that's something they were gonna do from time to time. Leaning in closer to Mirror's face, he simulated some of the actions he's seen on television shows during their down time. Closing his eyes, he pressed his lips against Mirrors, and started to kiss her, holding her tight while doing so.

Jake grinned and snapped his fingers as he watched Saber kissing Mirror on his screen, closing the screen and leaving them alone now as a reward "Atta boy, partner!" Jake heard the last half of Erika's long winded explanation of hers and Mary's love life, honestly not all that surprised, considering how flirty they could be "I knew you two flirted a lot, but I never took you for the polyamorous types."

Kate blushed when Erika extended her offer for intimacy to Alexi and herself, clearing her throat to speak up "Let's take things one step at a time, alright? We JUST started working on a relationship, I don't think we're quite ready for the experimental phase yet...And I still have a reputation to uphold as captain, if word got out about me doing something like that, I would be in deep shit."

Katana gave Domain a mock glare as he teased her about going up to the roof and stopping Saber and Mirror have their alone time, wagging her finger accusingly at him "Real funny. But think of the positives! If I get a sister out of this, that means you get brothers to bond and fight with. And you love to fight, right Domain?"

Bit stared at the readings and was a bit surprised herself. Though considering Mani4c and Viral are forced to spend every waking moment together, it wasn't all that hard to expect quick results in their synchronization "Not surprising, given their extensive time spent together." When asked about what she wanted to know about Saber, Baretta addressed the doctor first, since he asked "I want to know how exactly the virus infection had an effect on Saber gaining human emotion, I've never heard of infected avatars gaining this trait after a virus removal." "...Probably because it wasn't your everyday routine LVR." When Baretta looked at Bit in confusion, it took a while for her to realize why "...Oh...Right...That's short for Live Virus Removal...Doctor, I'll let you explain, since she asked you first."

[Prythian]

Domain gave a slow nod. "...yes. I do." A small frown appeared on his face though. Brothers... Integrate. Not only was he still out there, as far as he knew they had made absolutely no progress in tracking him or Halberd down. The one AUGMENT avatar he knew for a fact deliberately did wrong... "...I already have a brother I need to fight, though. And the sooner, the better."

Mirror almost stiffened in surprise, but quickly pulled herself closer to him, reciprocating the kiss. While she hadn't known what to do or when to do it, she'd somehow gotten lucky so far in doing the right things. And now... well. This just felt... right.

[Mani4c]

Samuel smiled and got up, giving Kate a pat on the back. "You care far to much about what people think of you Kathryn...just be yourself, and if anyone complains...well." Samuel pulled out his Kukri, he gave it a twirl and balanced the tip of the blade on his finger, shooting a smirk at Kate as he did. "Send them to me, I'll handle them." He then tossed the blade in the air and whipped it at a dartboard, hitting the bullseye dead center. "And then they won't complain ever again...though I would need to buy some cement for the eh..."Cleanup"."

Erika chuckled at Samuel's behavior, "It's nice to have a man with a licence to kill on our team." Samuel chuckled and pulled the Kukri out of the dartboard, sheathing it in one smooth motion. "Oh, I'm good at a lot of things...you just need to ask." Samuel's tone made it apparent that he was flirting with Erika, Mary finally looked up from the crook of her lover's shoulder and glared at Samuel. "Easy there Limey, she's mine until I give the thumbs up." Samuel just chuckled and walked back over to his seat.

The Doctor sucked in a breath, preparing to give a rather detailed lecture on how Saber's emotions came to be. "Alright...well, first of all, it's important to remember where Saber's infection was. His emotional programming was infected, resulting in a mild feedback loop effect, this resulted in his hostile and overtly aggressive behavior during the battle." The Doctor paused so Baretta could soak in what he was saying before moving on. "The second detail is how the viral data was removed. Mani4c's method's were...well, crude, to say the least. He simply sucked the data out of him, and this ended up creating a vacancy in Saber's code, it would have voided his emotions completely if it wasn't for one last ingredient. A key factor that led to Saber's newfound emotions."

The Doctor pulled out a small projector and activated it, bringing up a detailed diagram of Saber's code, as well as samples of Mani4c's code. "Mani4c's code is incredibly adaptive, it actually filled in the empty space in Saber's code and recreated it, but instead of a static emotional matrix like he originally had..." The Doctor highlighted the emotional matrix in Saber's code. "The code was dynamic, a flexible emotional grid that was many times more complex than the original model he had." The highlighted matrix vanished, and was then replaced with a new matrix with a far more complex weaving of code within it. "This is the secret to avatar evolution hidden within viral code, Noxus was correct, if this method were used on all existing avatars, our abilities would skyrocket. What he got wrong was the method that he used." 

The Doctor pulled up another diagram, this time scans of Mani4c and Viral's code, along with Noxus'. "Viral code replicates on it's own, much like cellular replication among viruses in the real world. This is what gives Mani4c his near boundless energy, and Viral his incredible healing factor. Noxus' code doesn't replicate as fast, it's become stagnant, as a result, samples taken from him react violently when introduced to foreign code."

The Doctor brought up scans of Mani4c and Noxus' viral code, Mani4c's was almost constantly replicating, whereas Noxus' was almost inert. "This is why his colleagues became monstrous when infected with his strain of code, the energy revitalized his code, and it became uncontrollable. But because Mani4c's code is so dynamic, it easily binds to and replaces lost code, becoming symbiotic instead of parasitic. It's incredible, Mani4c's code and the viral energies within have created a completely new strain of code, it's like stem cells almost...Viral has them too, but because his energy type is more caustic, his code dissolves anything it tries to bond to." The Doctor sucked in another breath and looked at Bit, "Did I forget anything?"

[Saber]

Jake rolled his eyes when Samuel pretty much offered to kill anyone who gave Kate a hard time, finishing off his mud slide and pushing the cup close to the edge of the bar for Reggie to take before spinning in his chair "You do realize that sociopathic behavior like that could spark an investigation of the NPD, and still make Kate look bad just by being her subordinate, right? As a lieutenant, it's your job to look out for her and the commissioner, sure, but trying to scare anyone who gives either of them trouble, that's just a recipe for disaster, and a one way ticket to losing your badge, and your freedom."

Petra smirked and gave Samuel a once over when he started boasting about his skills "You two might not want a go, but I'd be more than willing to have a bit of rough and tumble with the crazy Brit. The crazy ones are the most fun." She gave Samuel a flirty wink, before stretching in an almost teasing fashion. Kate merely sighed and covered her face, shaking her head in response "...People like them make me question why I'm still on the force...Reggie, get me a rum and coke, that dublin ale's wearing off."

Saber held Mirror for a long time like this. Just holding her, embracing her, it felt right to him, and he felt joy that he never knew he could feel. After several minutes of this, he pulled away, his face flushed greatly from embarrassment, but he made up for it with the amount of happiness that the kiss brought him, and he showed that in his eyes, and in his smile "I've said this already, but I don't care...There's nowhere I would rather be, than right here with you, the woman I love."

Baretta watched and listened to the doctor's long winded explanation of how Saber's code was altered in a way that gave him the mind and heart of a human. Apparently, Mani4c's viral code is so adaptive and dynamic, it can fill in the gaps of any avatar's code, and alter itself to fit the avatar's missing needs. Bit shrugged when asked if he missed anything, not really finding anything else to say "The short of it is basically that Mani4c is a walking, talking (albeit obnoxiously) virus removal surgery center, and he can make avatars more human as a result, rather than their simulated, artificial emotions and thoughts. If he repairs someone's virus damaged code, he can make any avatar an independent-minded individual that can think and feel for themselves." "...Wow. I knew his code was special, but I wasn't aware of how special he really was. To have taken such dangerous code and make it into something great, he truly is a marvel." Baretta looked over at Viral and Lilith, who were still dancing, and smiled proudly. She turned back to Bit and the doctor, her smile fading somewhat "Lets keep this secret from the public until we can establish a safe way of informing the world of this discovery. The last thing NPD, and Mani4c needs is a gigantic mob of people from around the world demanding to have their avatars made more human."

[Prythian]

Mirror simply smiled back, happily, tears of happiness still staining her cheeks. "That's good... because right now, I don't think I'd let you go anywhere else. I love you too much for that. As happy as I was when I found Domain... it isn't even a spark compared to how I feel now." After a few moments, though, her face fell. "...Domain..." Mirror clasped one of Saber's hands with both of hers. "...your brother and mine are still out there... as are two other sibling of mine. This has nothing to do with them... but it's gnawed at me so long that I need some closure on my brother. What are we going to do about them?"

[Mani4c]

Samuel simply chuckled and looked at Jake with a mock look of insanity on his face. "Why so serious? As for your offer of a roll in the hay Petra, I'm afraid that I'll have to decline, I've got to unpack and maintain my gear." Reggie gave Kate her Rum and Coke, "It's on the house Kate." Alexi sat on an empty stool and patted the one next to him, motioning Kate over so she could take a load off. "Kate, their young, just relax and ignore it."

The slow dance ended, the final strains of the music slowly fading away as Viral and Lilith just stood and held one another, both of them had content smiles on their faces. The Doctor smiled when Baretta told him to keep his discovery low key for the time being. "Noted Baretta, Sam shared the same opinion actually, though her reasoning was that she'd probably shoot some of the more obnoxious people coming to her demanding upgrades." The Doctor chuckled at the memory, Samantha was equal parts amazed and irritated by the revelation, she didn't want to deal with the political ramifications of the discovery whatsoever.

[Saber]

Saber sighed and looked back up at the moon. Mirror was right, Halberd was still out there with Integrate, doing who knows what, and the threat against humankind was still just as high as when Halberd made his first move. One way or another, they had to be stopped. Taking into account Mirror's 2 other siblings, Ampify, and one that hasn't been revealed yet, were still on the run, things were getting more and more complicated "...I wish I knew, Mirror...I just know that my brother has to be stopped, by any means necessary...If I can stop him, then maybe Integrate will come around, and come with us. Amplify should be safe with Justicar, until they choose to return, but I haven't heard anything about your last sibling...It's as if any presence of them has been hidden."

Petra grinned and tapped her chin idly, waving Samuel off and walking back over to Erika and Mary "Raincheck then." Jake gave Samuel a deadpan stare as he gave Jake a crazy look, shaking his head "...No...Just no." Kate sighed and took a large swig of her drink, waving her hand dismissively at Alexi's comments about them being young "I wasn't anything like that when I was their age. I went out and enjoyed myself too, but this is ridiculous..."

Baretta nodded in understanding, glad that the doctor agreed with her about her wish to keep the information secret. "I personally don't want to be bothered by a bunch of annoying avatars, I have enough of them where I work."

[Prythian]

Mirror sighed. "Well... if they're hidden... then they're probably not doing anything wrong, at least for now... nothing big, anyway. Integrate, though... I hope you're right. But... none of them have anything quite like us, I think." She gave another sigh, this time happy. "Let's just stay up here for now... if anyone needs us, they can send one of us a message."

((End Mirror and Saber scene for now? I don't know what more to do.))

[Mani4c]

Alexi just shrugged, "You also weren't in SWAT, a member of the military, or raised in Dublin. Different experiences make for different personalities. Erika and Samuel had to face death on a daily basis, and they cope by messing around and partying harder than most. Mary is a Military brat who's been around serviceman like Samuel  for most of her life, I can't speak for Petra, but given her specialty was sting operations and undercover ops, she's probably seen more shit than she lets on. We all cope differently Kate, all I care about is if they can do their jobs when the shit hits the fan, and I know for a fact that Erika and Mary can do so. Samuel and Petra will just have to prove themselves."

Viral and Lilith walked under a tree and sat under it, leaning against the trunk and just relaxing, Amaterasu smiled and began to paint a picture of the two. Claymore ambled over and knelt down, offering his hand so Katana could clamber up to his shoulder. "What do you want to do now sister?"

[Saber]

Saber smiled and held Mirror closer, giving her a peck on the cheek as she wanted to move on to more positive things "Agreed, I could use more of this, after all we've been through." (sure, I'm out of ideas as well)

Kate sighed and leaned against Alexi, taking another swig from her rum and coke "Alright, alright, you win. I'll give them a chance to prove themselves. But any more of this craziness tonight and I'll have to retire earlier than the others most likely will."

Katana smiled and crawled up on Claymore's shoulder, sitting on the large plate like a cat "Eh, I dunno. Mirror's gone, so I can't play with my best friend/new sister, and I doubt you or Chakram will want to do any of the girly stuff we do. You're way too big for me to spar against, and Chakram prefers stealth combat. I'm out of ideas aside from pranking people or going out for a night in the town, but you're too big and clunky to sneak around and pull pranks with, and mom isn't gonna let us out there because she's overprotective."

[Mani4c]

Alexi smiled and gave Kate a hug. "Heh, if you didn't retire because I Mani4c I don't think you'll retire cause of some party animals Kate." Reggie just smirked and walked away, letting the two new lovebirds have some privacy.

Claymore smiled and started to walk towards the exit when he noticed that Amaterasu was more engrossed in painting Viral and Lilith than watching Katana. "Well, what she doesn't know won't hurt her. Let's go get something sweet, or perhaps we can see a movie, just the two of us..." Claymore walked out of the training hall and into the city streets with Katana, while Amaterasu glanced at the duo and smiled. "I should punish them...but they've earned a night on the town I think." Amaterasu turned back to her painting as Sona began to play another relaxed song... (End thread)
