Finding True Harmony(Mani4c)

[Prythian]

Once again in the Asian Network, Harmony walked the alleyways amongst older buildings and servers. It was a place very few avatars went, and she'd first come there only because Dagger had sent for her. While she had been nervous enough the first time, not knowing her way around, now she knew enough. There was a particular place she was looking for... an alleyway with a few abandoned chairs, fairly far from the main street. She had spotted it when heading towards Dagger's location. As she walked, she mused that she had been to the Asian Network far more often recently than she'd ever imagined she'd need to.

Silver armor glinting in the light, she finally reached the entryway to the right alleyway, sitting down on one of the chairs. <Here?> "Yeah, this is the spot. <Cool, Harm. I'm sending ya the display programs Aqua whipped up.> <Sending prepared messages...> Harmony smiled to herself as a couple of round spheres with small crystals on the top appeared in her hands. While Aqua modified and then sent her messages to Masamune and Raijin inviting them to meet at Harmony's current coordinates, Harmony dropped the spheres on either side of her. "Streaming programs active. Input code: Flowing River. Input code: Swift Lava." As Harmony spoke, the crystals facing the sky gleamed, and then lines projected from them into the air, connecting to each other above Harmony to create a flat rectangle, without any image inside of it. "Alright, girls. Whenever they get here, just access the stream keys and you should be able to let them see you so we can all have a nice talk. You have your displays back home merged?" <Duh. That way I can leave Aqua to any of that programming stuff and just focus on talking!> "Right then. Now... we wait."

Masamune and Raijin had just left a meeting with the Commander of the Japanese Military's cyber warfare division, he had welcomed their organization as a new subsidiary of the JNPD's Net-Ops division. They were officially not members of the NPD, not even being on the books, instead they functioned as a "Black-Ops" platoon, operating out of legal bounds while still serving the interests of the NPD and their own organization. "It's finally over, now we can advance our own agenda without stepping on any toes in Japan." Raijin nodded, "Indeed, and with the might of the Japanese military at our backs, we can take the fight to the scum of the underground...excluding your friends of course." Masamune sighed, his relationship with Noxus was becoming somewhat strained, he was becoming wise to his secrecy, and the wolf spirit inside of Justicar was making him suspicious as well. "I just hope that we can stay friends, they're becoming nervous about my secrecy."

Suddenly there was a beeping noise, "Hmm, Harmony is contacting us." Raijin simply deleted his message and looked at Masamune's, figuring that it was for the same reason, given that they both got the message at the same time. "She's asking me to bring you to these coordinates." "It's only about two minutes away, let's get moving." Masamune nodded and headed towards Harmony's location with Raijin. When they arrived he noticed the large blank display screen. "You wanted to meet for some movies? I should have brought popcorn." Raijin simply crossed his arms and nodded towards Harmony. "It's good to see you in top condition again. I take it that you wanted some more concrete answers than what we delivered the last time we met."

Harmony gave a small smile. "I admit I'm curious, yes. But the ones who really want the explanation Masamune said he owed me are them." She glanced up as the screen began to flicker, suddenly opening up into a full-color stream. It showed two girls sitting. The first one was splayed out in a beanbag chair, clearly relaxed, outfit made entirely of swirling patterns of reds and oranges and sometimes yellows. With long sleeves and long pants, she looked less like she was wearing clothes and more like the beanbag chair had a burning person on it. She grinned as she saw the two, sitting up a bit. "Ah, finally!" Her white, pixie-cut hair and sharp grey eyes focused through the image, staring at Masamune and Raijin. "You even changed what we're getting from Harm to make it look like we're seeing them from the stream? Nice work, Aqua!"

The other girl was simply sitting at a chair, didn't even really react. She wore a simple light-blue dress that went down to her ankles, and her hair was long, straight, and the same white color. Her grey eyes were focused entirely on two holographic screens right next to her, coming out of her large, thick, grey bangle of a bracelet, its blue gem glowing softly as it created the image. In fact, Fyra had the same bracelet, only she wore hers on the opposite hand, and its gem was red. Fyra leaned forward, resting her chin on a hand. "So. I want to here all about it. Some sort of secret society? It sounds so cool!"

"Meet my users, Fyra and Aqua." Harmony smiled, glancing upwards at the screen.

Masamune made a fist with his left hand and placed it in his right palm before bowing. "Hajimemashite Fyra, and to you as well Aqua, I am Masamune. I thank you for taking the time to hear us out." Raijin just nodded at the young operators. "My name is Raijin, leader of the Japanese cell of our organization."

Masamune straightened out and looked at the two girls, his expression serious, yet friendly. "As for our organization, it's an old one, it's history stretches back to the beginning of Cyber Earth itself. Before the NPD, before the mega corporations, even before the mythical Four Horsemen rode on their mission to smite the wicked; we've been the first and last line of defense for those who cannot protect themselves. At first it was simply a loose affiliation of powerful avatars who would delete dangerous viruses and rogues, but that all changed when an avatar named Sai organized and army of warriors under a single banner, creating the prototype for the organization."

Raijin took over at this point, "The army that he created would wander the world, deleting any violent Rogue avatars or viruses that crossed them, they would also assist in times of crisis, this went on for almost 50 years. But when the Four Horsemen were created in the wake of the massacre in the Antarctic network, we sunk into the background, becoming far more covert in our actions. This intensified when the NPD was formed, we went from a standing army to a cell based organization that strikes from the dark and then slinks back into the crowd before we can be pinned down. That's the reason for our specialty in close combat, we have members that are skilled in sniping as well, but most of use are best at melee combat."

Masamune began to speak again. "But things have changed, the Four Horsemen have become fragmented, and the Underground network is mobilizing for war with all of humanity. Because of this, our organization had begun to gather allies, skilled avatars and humans who can help us keep things under control in ways that the NPD can't because of their restrictions. And, well..." "We would like your help in keeping the network safe, but this is a dangerous task, for Harmony and possibly you as well. We wanted to ask you personally, if you decline we wouldn't blame you, most would probably call you sane for doing so."

Fyra's eyes widened, and she leaned back in the beanbag again. "...are you kidding? This is so cool! I mean, we wouldn't be able to tell anyone, but imagine if we could! We'd be heroes, not just arena fighters!" She rolled over as best she could, lying on her stomach and staring excitedly at Aqua. "All of your programs, both the combat ones I had you make and your nerd stuff, would be used for more than just-!" Aqua turned her head and looked into Fyra's eyes, and Fyra subsided, getting back into her position. Almost timidly, Aqua's soft eyes turned towards Masamune and Raijin. Despite having previously not giving off a sense of even really being there, now she had a presence, and one that seemed tough, at odds with her meek demeanor.

"Why?" Her soft voice was extremely calm and almost seemed like the opposite of how she had spoken after the assault on Cyber City. And yet, despite being soft, emotionless, there was a sense of importance to what she said, a sense of purpose. Harmony crossed her arms. "Why us? And what sort of dangers would make it dangerous for them to join? If the Underground is going for all of humanity, isn't it going to be dangerous for them regardless?" Her eyes gleam, a hint of anger in them... but not, seemingly, directed at Masamune or Raijin.

Masamune sighed, "One moment...I don't want any eavesdroppers." Masamune drew his sword and plunged it into the ground, creating a large glyph on the ground similar to the one he used against the ghouls. He then said something in Japanese and slammed his palm onto the grip of his blade, causing a wall of light to spring up around them that slowly faded away.

"A barrier, anyone trying to spy on us or even just passing by won't be able to see or hear us now. Anyway...some of our enemies are more than willing to harm children, torture, murder...they're nothing but tools to these people, and you can bet that if they found out who you are that they'd try to bring harm to you as leverage against us and Harmony." Raijin nodded, "We have a number of safeguards and cloaking programs that our agents use to keep them concealed, fake identifier tags, masking programs, even entirely new cosmetic programs for each mission...but no safeguard is 100% infallible. We may want to stop injustice, but we will not let our allies jump in without knowing the risks, even if it makes them drop out."

[Prythian]

Harmony's face went firm. "Anyone who dares even touch one hair of my girls will get no mercy from me." She said bleakly, one hand closing into a fist. "...full deletion for any avatar that even tried. I would track down their registration and destroy it." She glanced down at her shaking fist, and slowly relaxed it, opening it back. "...I would find a way for humans, as well. NOBODY hurts my twins. No one." Her eyes, fierce, turned onto Masamune and Raijin. "...Understand that, if you understand nothing else." Her tone of voice made it clear there were no exceptions to this rule of hers. Even her own best friend, if she had one aside from her users, would be no exception.

"Harmony." Aqua said softly, diverting her attention. Harmony sat there for a moment, sighed, and went back to being calm, if slightly tense. "Concealment programs..." She started muttering to herself, taking off her bracelet and setting it onto the chair. She opened up a new holographic window next to her, typing on the air in front of it as it created a keyboard in front of it, focusing entirely on it, muttering unintelligible to herself as she worked. The only thing that could even be audibly made out was something about inefficiency and weaknesses. Fyra, meanwhile, leaned forward again. "Alright, so they'd try and hurt us personally. All you've said so far, though, is why we wouldn't want to join you, and nothing about why you want us." She pointed out, impatience rising in her voice. "Avoiding it is going to only make us refuse."

Masamune sighed, "Alright, I'll be blunt, Harmony's abilities are extremely unique. Her ability to switch between combat and data acquisition programs is something that was unheard of before I met her. Combined with Aqua's skill in coding and Your skill in on the fly thinking in combat, we've decided that you would be an incredibly valuable addition to our organization." Raijin nodded, "Masamune's been our main inventor and code-smith, but he's only one guy, and he often works best when he has someone to bounce Ideas off of that knows what they're doing. Harmony's abilities and your quick thinking have been proven in both the arena and against an army of undead, combined with her knowledge of code and flexibility in combat, you're an almost unbeatable team." Masamune nodded, "Now you know, so, what do you think? If you need time to decide we'd understand completely."

[Prythian]

Fyra looked pleased with herself, settling down in her chair. "True. We totally kick ass, especially when we're both connected and can switch like that. It's why we're so well known in the arena..." Her forehead furrowed as her eyebrows went down. "...hoo boy, that's a problem. Our combat programs are fairly, well, obvious. People recognize 'em. Even if you can hide what Harmony looks like, you can't hide her moves. We'd need a whole new set of programs... Aqua?" She looked over, concerned.

"High modifications are needed." Aqua murmured, still focused entirely on her window, at times touching and dragging things on the main screen before going back to typing. "Concealment unnecessary, though. She'll be different." This time, Harmony was the one who looked concerned, with a little bit of confusion in there as well. "What do you mean, Aqua? Even with some cosmetic changes, I'm still going to look very close to how I was... and won't I still get recognizable in the arena? People will wonder if I just stop fighting..." Aqua shook her head. "Divergence." Harmony scratched the back of her head. "Divergence..." She looked at Masamune. "I usually understand what she means, but I'm lost this time."

Aqua pressed her lips together. "Sychronized mind remains. Programs change. One body changes." She tapped on her window a few times, and then the lines from the display program on her left cut out, leaving only an image of Fyra on the screen. A smaller screen appeared above the device, this time covered in a digital grid shaped to resemble images, text around the screen with lines connecting it to various pieces.

On the left side was displayed something shaped like an animal, complete with fuzzy lines resembling fur. It looked wolf-life, but with a long tail more like a cats, with a large brush of fur on it. It glowed for a moment, and the lines making it up turned into a kind of reddish-gold. "Base form with no armor. Appears to be a simple companion avatar. Similar to some they give kids." It stopped glowing, and the image on the right began to glow with the same reddish-gold light... highlighting a form that was clearly the same in shape, but the resemblances stopped there. It looked almost entirely mechanical, formed of a series of interlocking armor plates. On the end of the tail was a blade of some sort (it wasn't evident what, yet, just that it was blade-shaped), and it had long knife-like blades on its four feet. "Armored form. Would be specialized for close-quarters, but with some ranged options. Similar programs to current ones, but filtered differently to work with the shape." The image faded back out, and the device connected by with the other display, showing both Aqua and Fyra again.

Aqua glanced at Fyra. "It'd be on your terminal. Mixing in a false identification and a name. Harmony would still be visible in the analysis body... the combat body would be replaced with this for secretive work." Harmony had been staring at the image just as much as anyone had. "...Would having such a wildly different body be safe?" "75% likelihood of easy adaptation. 20% chance of lengthy adaptation. 5% chance of mental damage."

Masamune's eyes widened at the sight of Harmony's new body, and he paled at the mention of possible mental damage. "That's still too much of a risk, there has to be some way to stabilize the transition that lowers the risk to Harmony's mental state." Masamune pulled out his code scanner and began to scan Harmony, copying her personality and memory data, essentially copying her "mind" onto his scanner. He then began to run a battery of tests on the code, taking them through a variety of situations and seeing how the code would react, he also opened up a direct link to Aqua through the visual feed, showing her the tests as they rapidly flitted by. "I need your help here Aqua, if you see any code that you find useful in stabilizing her mental state during the transfer process, copy it and try to work it into the program. I can help you on this end." Raijin looked at Fyra with an amused expression and jerked his head towards Masamune. "A match made in heaven, don't you think?" 

[Prythian]

Aqua simply glanced at the link. While she did occasionally grab a test and flick it aside into another window, for the most part she simply looked, typing notes down here and there." Fyra shrugged at Raijin. "So long as the two eggheads figure out how to make it safe for Harmony, I don't really care. I think it's a given at this point that we wanna join, though... well, Harmony hasn't said anything. What do you think, Harm? Any thoughts?" As it turned out, Harmony was deep in thought, leaning back in her chair as she stared up into the sky thoughtfully.

Sighing and smiling, she sat forward, hands on her knees. "Aqua, Masamune... you can stop now." Aqua paused, surprise briefly showing on her face. "Let's do it as soon as we can. Once we're done with this meeting, in fact." Both of the twins' eyes widened. "What?!" They said in unison, for once sounding exactly the same. "Look. It's just a replacement for the copy of me on Fyra's terminal, right? Changing out the body there for something else? All we need to do is for me to mentally prepare myself beforehand, then I get shut down, the changes get down, and I wake up to test out the new body. Besides... I want to help. My only concern was whether or not Aqua and Fyra were in danger. If Aqua says this and a false ID code will stop that, then I'm in."

Masamune stuttered, "B-but, the risk to your mental health! I still need to..." Raijin just gave him a pat on the shoulder, "My friend, the one thing that I have learned above all else in my many years on this earth...never argue with a woman of great conviction, you'll lose every time." Masamune spluttered, "But, but, but!" Raijin just ignored Masamune and walked up to Harmony, offering her his hand. "Welcome to the fold Harmony, and I promise you that I shall take every precaution to ensure the safety of both you and your operators." 

[Prythian]

Harmony took his hand and shook it. "Now... anything you two need to add first?" Fyra shook her head. "I'm good if you are. Jumping straight into without thinking about the danger... I thought you were always telling me to be cautious, think things through?" Harmony chuckled. "Yes, but with Aqua, I have to push her into taking action. Besides, this is the right thing to do." Aqua frowned. "Masamune. Please. Don't scan Harmony again unless it's an emergency or I've given you permission. My programs aren't perfect yet, and I want to finish them myself. Advice is welcome, though." She went back to focusing on designig Harmony's new body, now that Harmony had told her to try the change as soon as the program was finished.

"Seems like that's it, then, but. I have something myself that I want to know." Harmony stood up, staring about Raijin. "Obviously, I don't know the Underground. We didn't go there, since it'd cut off my synchronization program. I'd lose access to all of my DPs and any contact with my users. So, while I'm not sure if I'll be able to work in there or if you'll need me there... you did say that they were planning a war on humanity. So. I want to know what factions there are, and everything you can give me about significant members of those factions."

Masamune nodded, "Alright, anyway I'm in charge of surveillance in the underground, so I'll tell you what I know." Masamune pulled out a small crystal and activated it, the crystal projected an image of Noxus, Justicar, and Amplify. "These three avatars are part of an organization that is "Friendly" to humanity, the leader is this avatar here, Noxus." The image of Noxus was highlighted. "His ideology is that avatars should be involved in real world politics, and that they should have complete control over human affairs to protect humanity from itself and any digital threats, he's come to blows with the NPD; but seems more interested in researching Avatar evolution than causing problems. Justicar-"

The image of Justicar was highlighted next. "Is my student, and Noxus' right hand man, he's a firm believer in Noxus' "Shepard Humanity" beliefs. However, he's also a very honorable and righteous individual, possessing a very strong moral compass. He will not attack you if you don't attack him, and if you inform him that you're a friend of mine, he'll gladly speak with you and have your back in a pinch."

Masamune then highlighted the final image. "This is Amplify, also known as Amp. Her history is an extremely sensitive topic, and I cannot tell you where she comes from, I can tell you however that her abilities are extremely potent and her lack of fighting prowess should not blind you to the danger she can pose. She possesses the ability to draw power from the network itself, and use that power to increase several different attributes on an avatar, she can even increase her own abilities with it. This power does lead to a drawback however, her emotions are extremely volatile and vulnerable to rapid change, if she goes into an emotional feedback she will become mentally unstable. She is also a proficient liar and is fond of manipulation, even her own allies are not exempt from this trait, so be on your guard around her." Raijin stepped forward, "These are our allies in the Underground, they may be law breakers, but they are mostly benign to the world at large. They're also extremely useful as spies. Any questions before we move onto the major threat?"

[Prythian]

Harmony examined them carefully, without a word, and considered for a bit. "This belief that avatars should be in charge of humans... in other words, he's not a threat to humanity yet. I would certainly disagree that removing their freedom would protect anything about humanity. Maybe their existence, but not their lives..." A private message from Aqua to Harmony popped into her head. She was evidently able to continue working while communication with Harmony, as she didn't even miss a beat in her muttering and typing. <The avatar Amplify... that is a unique skill. If you get the chance, analysis would do wonders. Perhaps some of it might even be useful for Merge or Dagger.> <Understood, Aqua.>

"So Amplify is dangerously volatile, Justicar is highly loyal, and Noxus is... extremely well-intentioned. Even if they're our allies..." She couldn't suppress a shudder. "That is a very, very dangerous combination. You just told me our allies are like a match, gasoline, and napalm. I accept them as allies but I think I'm a bit concerned about the potential there. Though... you said Noxus is researching avatar evolution? Aqua's recently been looking into the possibility of autonomous evolution..." She pressed her lips together. "Not sure if she'd swap notes, though. In any case, I don't really have any more questions about them." Just worried thoughts...

[Mani4c]

Masamune nodded, "I understand your concerns, as a matter of fact, I agree with them. Noxus is a well intentioned extremist, not wanting to harm anyone but resigned to the fact that he has to do so. As for Justicar and Amplify..." Masamune was silent for a moment. "They're relationship seems to be an odd mixture of Brotherly love and emotional stabilizer on Justicar's end, and obsessive need for companionship and hyper possessiveness on Amplify's side. I don't sense any romantic feelings between them at the moment, but they're extremely devoted to one another nonetheless, all and all I'd avoid contact with them and their organization if at all possible. I'm used to their personalities and can adapt accordingly. Now then..."

Masamune put away the first crystal and pulled out a second one, when he activated it, a hologram of Halberd, Gat and Integrate appeared. "These are our most dangerous foes at the moment. They possess a lust for violence, a penchant for sadism and most importantly, an army and the will to unleash it against humanity. The purple gunman here is Gat." The hologram of Gat was highlighted. "He acts as a sort of "General" for the army of rogues in the underground. He's a prolific criminal who's rap sheet is longer than the list of weapons he's packing in those spammers of his, he's essentially a walking arsenal, if you see him do not engage him without backup. Even with your abilities and a new body, he could easily pull a trick out of his sleeve and kill you, and that's if your lucky."

Masamune's voice was laced with disgust. "He has a...fondness for female avatars, he'll torture them and treat them as objects to be used and thrown away, if he's not keeping them as some kind of sick trophy. I have no doubt that if he was a human we would be adding rape to his long list of crimes, and I long for the day when he's begging for mercy with my blade at his throat."

The next image to be highlighted was Integrate. "This is Integrate, Amplify's more psychotic and violent brother. All he respects is strength, and his ability is to make the strong even stronger by adding armor and effects to an avatar, he does this by merging with an avatar's code. He can also shift his arms and legs into a variety of weapons, and even duplicate another avatar's appearance, and to top it all off he can inject viral code into an avatar with his blades. He's usually bonded to a host, but if he's on his own take him down, but remember to be alert and have an exit strategy at a moment's notice."

The image of Halberd was then highlighted. "and here's the leader of it all, a genocidal madman named Halberd. He's an escaped avatar from a secret NPD project. He has a massive sword that's sturdy enough to deflect blaster fire and can cleave an avatar in two with a single stroke, as well as a limiter that makes him almost indestructible when it's released. You are not to attack him under any circumstances, if you see him, call for backup and stay hidden. He will not hesitate to delete you on sight."

[Prythian]

Harmony, the moment they started describing Integrate and his powers, sat there with her mouth open. ...Merge...! Not the same, but distinctly similar in function, only with a difference in the exact manifestation of his powers. There was no way those two avatars weren't related... and Amplify was a sibling program to Integrate?! This was news Dagger had to hear, and Merge as well. And just as she thought that, Masamune moved onto Halberd, and if anything her mouth dropped open even more. Halberd and Dagger shared a naming scheme, and very few secret projects had only one avatar in them... though if this Halberd was that powerful, it was entirely possible he was.

Harmony sat there for a few moments in shock after Masamune finished, trying to think of something to say. Aqua, thankfully, stepped in before she let anything slip about Merge and Dagger. "Integrate. Fuses with other avatars? Changing his arms and legs and appearance? More dangerous than you describe." Aqua let that sink in for a moment before continuing, as Harmony shut her mouth and listened. "You are discussing an avatar made entirely out of unstable data. Unstable data is the basis for my evolution research, but it is incredibly rare to run into a form of it that does not collapse." Her eyes glanced up from her workspace to Masamune. "If he learns to rearrange his data in more ways, he could be unstoppable. At the same time, he is incredibly valuable if I can get good looks at his code. Perhaps if..." She hesitated, opened up another holographic interface, and began typing into that, murmuring to herself. "...data stabilizer... freeze the program... how to deliver?... framework..."

Then Fyra jumped in. "So, this Integrate guy and that Amplify chick you told us about... they're siblings? How does that work? I've never heard about brother or sister avatars before." This time, Harmony sighed. "That's because you never looked for anything like that, Fyra. Avatars are only considered related if they're results from the same project, or sometimes programmer. But..." She shook her head. "I haven't heard of a group of programmers, let alone a single one, that could create such powers deliberately..." She glanced at Masamune and Raijin, lips pressed together hard. "...I must admit I'm incredibly curious about their past... but if you're sworn to secrecy with regards to Amplify, you can't tell me anything more about Integrate either, can you? I have... one question and a statement."

Harmony began pacing back and forth. "...Since I can't pry about those two... I have to ask, in regards to Halberd. You know that one of my primary purposes is analysis; this means that a secondary purpose of mine is finding and putting together different bits of info. While I likely won't be able to find something... do you know the name of the project Halberd is from? It would make a good starting point for an old-fashioned investigation. Also..." And here her lips quirked up, as she turned towards all four of them, having walked past the projection. "Don't forget that I'm registered. Being deleted is just a minor setback. If I have little to lose, and much to gain, it would be better for me to try and fail in a fight."

Masamune noticed the surprise on Harmony's face when he mentioned Integrate, she knew something, Raijin had noticed as well and gave Masamune a glance that said 'Ask after you answer her questions.' "The name of the project is Cyberblade, I managed to siphon some information from Noxus' server, there are three avatars in the Cyberblade project. Saber, who's the most well rounded and flexible of the group. Halberd, who's focus is on power and close combat. And finally Dagger, a stealth avatar who's more suited to ranged attacks..."

Masamune reached into a pouch on his hip and pulled out a damaged shuriken. "I found this after the attack during the festival, it matches the projectiles that Dagger uses. I also noticed something..." Masamune turned to Harmony, his expression somewhat stern. "When I mentioned Integrate and Amplify, you had a look of shock, and understanding on your face...you know of another avatar that share's their unique origin don't you? I've told and shown you secrets that many would kill to know, and I would like some honesty in return...I want you to take us to this avatar, as a friend and protector, we would keep her secret and also keep others off the sent if they're seeking her." Raijin nodded. "Think of it as a sign of trust, and you have my and Masamune's word that we won't breath a word of this to anyone."

[Prythian]

Harmony looked away for a moment, and even the twins just kind of looked at each other sheepishly. "It... isn't really a choice we can make." Fyra finally said. "We're sworn to secrecy, and we might have just broken that on accident. Much like you can't tell us anything about Amplify, right? From what I understand they were created from left over data from an experiment that would have created DP's that would have granted a permanent boost to an avatar's abilities, when the project had failed, the people who designed the DP's simply dumped the data out in the wastes...and it was from this data that Amplify and Integrate, as well as your secret friend, were created."

"And considering how one of your operator's is a bit...obsessed with studying different types of data, I refuse to believe that you don't have some method of contacting whomever's protecting that avatar, so far not one of them has been capable of any large amount of self defense. Masamune has been providing upgrades to Amp because of his arrangement with our allies, and Integrate is reliant on sneaking around and backstabbing people when he's not merged with someone."
